Southwest Holiday Lighting Experience

The Southwest Holiday Lighting Experience (SWHLE) is an annual mini conference created for DIY holiday decorators of all skill levels—from first-time beginners to seasoned enthusiasts. Designed to serve the broader Southwest region, SWHLE brings together decorators from Arizona, New Mexico, California, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah, while welcoming attendees from anywhere who share a passion for holiday lighting.

SWHLE is focused on education, creativity, and community. Whether your display uses xLights, Light-O-Rama, static lighting, or a mix of techniques, the conference offers a place to learn, share ideas, and explore new ways to enhance your holiday displays. Through classes, workshops, and open discussions, attendees gain practical knowledge while connecting with others who share the same enthusiasm for lighting up their communities.

The Southwest Holiday Lighting Experience is hosted as a single annual event, rotating to different locations across the Southwest every one to two years. This rotating format helps make the mini more accessible to decorators throughout the region and strengthens connections across local lighting communities.
